Biography
The band
Nashville, but heavier.
Call Out Sick is an alternative rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. In a city built on steel guitars and studio polish, they went the other way: down-tuned, fuzzed-out and a little broken on purpose.
The sound pulls from 90s grunge and the heavier corners of alt rock. Big slow riffs, ugly-pretty melodies and choruses meant to be yelled back. Songs get written late, demoed fast and played louder than the room can take.
